Note Conference calls can be initiated from both the handset and the base.
Dial other party. 4-way conferencing can be accomplished by using the handset and the base. To end a 4-way conference, handset and base must end the call.
Note To conference an incoming call while on a call, place current call on Hold and answer other call. Note To drop one party from the conference call, push and release the line button for the party you wish to keep. To end both conversations, push and release the Talk or buttons.

RINGER ON/OFF switches are located on the base. [. . . ] First, you are further from the source of interference and secondly the power adapter for the cordless phone will b e plugged into an outlet, which most likely is on a different line than the appliance which is causing the interference. If the noise persists after relocating the base, move closer to the base unit when talking on the phone. If the noise disappears, then it is most lik ely local interference being generated by a source outside your home, or a source inside your home strong enough to blanket your entire house such as a baby monitor. If you find that the noise and interference are equally strong throughout your house, your cordless phone may require service. [. . . ]
