SET-UP AND SAFETY -----------------------------------------------------------Please note the following instructions when setting up the television set. This television is designed to receive and display video and audio signals. To assure sufficient ventilation, make sure there is enough space around it in the wall unit. If you do use it outdoors, make sure it is protected from moisture such as rain or splashing water. [. . . ] The last selected main and inset pictures are shown next to each other.
Selecting the widescreen and left screen (double window function) presets
1 Select the preset with »« or »V« step by step or with »1. . . 0« directly.
Swapping the main and inset pictures
1 Press »Z« to swap the main and inset pictures.
Changing the position of the inset picture
1 Press »P« to change the position of the inset picture.
Changing the size of the inset picture
1 Press »S« to change the position of the inset picture.
Ending the PIP function
1 Press »PIP« two or three times to display inset picture. ENGLISH

1 Press »TXT« to switch on teletext. Note: At the bottom of the screen there is an info bar with red, green and depending on the channel yellow and blue panels. 7 Press »TXT« to switch off teletext.

1 Press »TXT« to switch on the teletext. 5 Press »TXT« to switch off teletext.
Additional functions
Skipping the waiting time
While it is searching for a page, you can switch to the TV station. 1 Enter the teletext page number with »1. . . 0« and then press »P«. 2 Press »P« to switch to the teletext page.
Enlarging the character height
If you have difficulty reading the text on the screen, you can double the character height. 1 To enlarge the character height of a teletext page, keep pressing »E«.

A multiple page may contain several sub-pages, which are automatically scrolled by the broadcasting station. 2 Quit the function with »Z«.
Opening a sub-page directly
If the selected teletext page contains additional pages, the number of the current sub-page and the total number of pages are displayed. 2 Press »1. . . 0« to enter the four-digit sub-page, for example »0« »0« »0« »2«. 3 Quit the function with »S«.
Reveal answer
Certain teletext pages contain hidden answers or information. 2 Press »?« to conceal the information.
Split screen
With this function you can see the television programme on the left and the teletext page on the right. The television programme and the teletext page appear next to each other on the screen. 2 Deactivate the spilt screen function by pressing »PAT«.
Specifying your own favourite teletext pages
You can store a favourite teletext page on the following buttons »z « (red), »¥ « (green), »3« (yellow) and »F « (blue). 1 In teletext mode, press »z « (red) and enter the three-digit teletext page with »1. . . 0«. 2 Open the teletext page with »z « (red), »¥ « (green), »3« (yellow) and »F « (blue).
