The colour tone changes depending on the background lighting conditions, such as under fluorescent or halogen lamps. Although noise may appear, this is not a malfunction and is not recorded. Do not open the flash unit manually or apply an unreasonable amount of pressure to it. Doing so may cause its position to be changed, making it impossible to shoot with the correct brightness.
Select "FLASH ADJ. " in MANUAL Menu, and press the MENU Wheel in. Rotate the MENU Wheel to select "BRETURN", and press it twice to close the Menu Screen.

NOTE: When you change the subject you are shooting or the shooting location, set it back to ±0 as described in step 2 and take a snapshot to check the flash brightness. After doing this adjust to your desired brightness.

Self-Timer
Once the camcorder is set, the camcorder operator can become part of the scene in a more natural way, adding the final touch to a memorable picture.

Set the Power Switch to "M" while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch. You can tilt the LCD monitor upward to 180° so that it faces forward and view yourself while self-recording with the viewfinder pushed back. 31, 35) To engage the Self-Timer for video recording, press the Recording Start/Stop Button. The camcorder's Full Range AF system offers continuous shooting ability from close-up (as close as approx. 5 cm to the subject) to infinity.
