Therefore, empty all pockets and turn them inside out, remove rollers from curtains or put them in a string bag. €¢ Put very small articles (belts, handkerchiefs, socks, bras with stiffeners, etc. €¢ Modern detergents and correct washing temperatures are generally sufficient to remove stains from fabrics. However, some stubborn stains, such as grass, fruit, egg, blood, rust and biro, should be pre-treated before washing. Depending on the type of fabric, many stain removers can be found in the shops. Stains should always be cleaned or diluted immediately as the older they get, the more difficult they are to remove. €¢ Garments may be damaged if fabric care symbols are not observed.
